We’ve recently launched a brand new website for Max Auto Colour, a Canterbury-based accident and body repair specialist with over 20 years of experience getting drivers across Kent back on the road.
Working closely with the team at Max Auto Colour, our focus was on building a site that reflects the quality of their workmanship while making it as easy as possible for drivers to get a repair estimate, whatever kind of damage they’re dealing with.
Since launch, the new site has already started generating enquiries for the team, which is exactly the result we set out to achieve.
A quote process built around photos, not forms
One of the biggest priorities for this project was simplifying how customers request an estimate. Rather than a long-winded enquiry form, the new site is built around a simple photo-based quote request. Customers are guided through exactly what’s needed, a wide shot of the vehicle, a close-up of the damage, and an angled showing depth, so the team can come back with an accurate estimate without unnecessary back and forth. It’s a small change in approach, but it removes a lot of friction from the very first step of getting a vehicle repaired.
Showing the standard of work, not just describing it
Body repair is a visual trade, so we wanted the site to lean into that. The new gallery uses before-and-after sliders so visitors can drag across real repairs and see the transformation for themselves, from dent and paint work through to full machine polishes. It’s a much more convincing way to demonstrate quality than copy ever could.
Clear guidance through the insurance process
Insurance repairs are often where drivers feel least in control, so we made sure the site addresses this head-on. The new site explains clearly that customers have the legal right to choose their own repairer, regardless of what an insurer might suggest, and sets out exactly how Max Auto Colour supports fault claims, non-fault claims, and the insurer communication that comes with them. It’s the kind of reassurance that turns a stressful situation into a straightforward one.
Built to cover the areas Max Auto Colour serves
Alongside the core site, we built out dedicated location pages covering Canterbury, Faversham, Ashford, Whitstable, Herne Bay, and the wider East Kent area. Helping the site properly reflect the breadth of drivers Max Auto Colour supports from their Canterbury workshop.
Early results
It’s still early days but the new site is already performing well, with enquiries coming through the photo-based quote form and a noticeable uptick in visibility across Canterbury and the surrounding areas. We are looking forward to continuing to work with the team as the site develops further.
What Max Auto Colour had to say
We’re always pleased to hear it when a project makes a real difference, and Max Auto Colour recently left us a glowing five-star review:
“We are extremely happy with our new business website and the final result. It looks fantastic, represents our business really well, and, most importantly, it’s already bringing us lots of new work. We couldn’t be happier with it! Highly recommended! 👍”
It’s exactly the kind of feedback that makes projects like this so rewarding to work on.
