An artist-led ecommerce site for a well-known UK actor to sell original paintings direct.
Nitin Ganatra is a British actor and artist, widely recognised for portraying Masood Ahmed in the BBC’s EastEnders. Alongside his screen work, Nitin produces a growing body of paintings and wanted a dedicated space to present the work with clarity and confidence.

The brief
Nitin needed a focused online platform to:
- Showcase his paintings in a way that felt personal, calm, and gallery-like
- Make it easy for fans and collectors to enquire or purchase
- Support ongoing updates without friction
The priority was simplicity: let the artwork lead, remove distractions, and keep the buying journey clear.

We kept the scope intentionally tight and design-led:

- Clear information architecture so visitors can browse quickly, then convert
- A straightforward purchase/enquiry flow that suits original works and availability changes

- A clean gallery layout optimised for imagery
- Artwork detail pages designed for quick scanning (title, size, medium, availability)
- Simple content management so new pieces can be added without developer support
- Performance-first front-end decisions to keep pages fast and image-heavy sections smooth
